BREAKING NEWS !    Yes it is true . . . The rumours that you might have heard ? Are actually true. Emperortech Limited will be closing its doors for good, and all intellectual properties (IP's) currently being developed under the company will now be moving to a new home. The decision to close down the company was reached earlier this year after a company and IP review. The results from the review were simple:  All IP's currently under Emperortech Limited could be doing much better under a much more conducive development environment seeing as the current environment (which is where Emperortech Limited was founded) is simply not progressive or conducive to the growth of these properties.  The future was not looking promising for any growth prospects, and something needed to be done to change that. What does it really mean for the future of Mega Mixable Live ? 🤔


It means a lot. And here's why:

Emperortech Limited is a relatively small company. Adopting the Flutter framework for application development will open up vast possibilities for the modernization of the Mega Mixable Live intellectual property. This in turn will lead to far more features than are currently being offered in the app.

Being able to implement a framework that is modern, ever evolving, and capable of compiling to native on various platforms saves a great deal of development time for each platform. It also resolves the issue of feature parity. Time is money. Being able to drastically reduce development life cycles will automatically translate into cutting down development costs. For a relatively small company ? This is a huge bonus. 

Being open source in nature means that it is freely available to use both for personal and commercial purposes. This also goes into the cost savings too. 

All these bonuses ultimately translate into more focus on creativity and adding more innovation to the M2L intellectual property.

With all this being stated, you're probably wondering what this means for our currently published applications and those that have been recently announced to be in development ?

Here's the development roadmap 💻:

After much deliberation Emperortech Limited has decided that both Metal Mixable Live: REVOLUTION and Mega Mixable Live: EVOLUTION will be migrated over to and developed with the Flutter framework. 

However the original Mega Mixable Live and Mega Mixable Live: DELUXE will maintain their existing code bases, and will continue to receive updates and support for the foreseeable future. 

Some of you might recall that on 31 May 2022, Mega Mixable Live: EVOLUTION was officially announced on the official Mega Mixable Live blog as an iOS exclusive to be built upon SWIFT technologies. Since that announcement, many changes have been made which consequently led to the decision to use the Flutter framework.

The main driver behind this decision was the fact that building M2LE with Swift will automatically leave Android users out in the cold. 

And while the iOS app store has been at the forefront of our userbase & app downloads, Android has been picking up a lot of steam lately.

Unless otherwise stated, all future titles under the Mega Mixable Live & Metal Mixable Live Intellectual properties will be built upon the Flutter framework.

M2LBA: Mega Mixable Live Baltica Ladies and Gentlemen it is with great joy that I announce an unexpected and exciting project under the M2L Umbrella. This is a project that has been in development for about a year now, and which initially began its life as an update to Mega Mixable Live version 1.7 .  It was meant to be M2L version 1.8 However, as time passed, the decision was made to create a separate title under the M2L umbrella given the huge amount of changes that were to be incorporated into the M2L 1.8 update. These are changes that were drastic and could be a shock to those who are used to the current M2L way of doing things.
