Ladies and Gentlemen it is with great joy that I announce an unexpected and exciting project under the M2L Umbrella. This is a project that has been in development for about a year now, and which initially began its life as an update to Mega Mixable Live version 1.7.
It was meant to be M2L version 1.8
However, as time passed, the decision was made to create a separate title under the M2L umbrella given the huge amount of changes that were to be incorporated into the M2L 1.8 update. These are changes that were drastic and could be a shock to those who are used to the current M2L way of doing things. So work began on a separate title in order to preserve the current design of M2L.
Ladies and gentlemen, that separate title is none other than 'MEGA MIXABLE LIVE: BALTICA' (M2LBA).
This blog post will provide preliminary details about the project.
What is Mega Mixable Live Baltica M2LBA ? 🎵 🌊
M2LBA is a new title under the Mega Mixable Live (M2L) umbrella that stems from the code of the M2L 1.7 update, and is focused on providing localizations for languages and countries that are connected to the Baltic Sea region. In addition to that, M2LBA will usher in a host of changes that have never been seen before in any Mega Mixable Live title.
Initially, work had started on M2L 1.8 after the release of M2L 1.7, however the decision was made to create an entirely new product that stems from the M2L DNA.
This is not to say that M2L 1.8 has been abandoned. No. It is still in the works. It was just put on hold momentarily to enable the speedy development and release of M2LBA.
M2LBA will be similar to M2L in many ways, but at the same time, it will be very different. Different enough for it to be its own independent title.
What Platforms and App Stores will it be published to ? 📲
M2LBA will be available for:
- Android
- iOS
M2LBA will be published to:
- Samsung Galaxy App Store
- Amazon App Store
- iOS App Store
- Google Play store
- Itch.io store
It is possible that M2LBA will be published to even more app stores than the ones listed above. However this is yet to be confirmed.
M2L currently has support for 13 languages on the decks. How many languages will M2LBA support ? 🗣️🌍
M2LBA will support 10 languages, and they are as follows:
English - English
Estonia - Estonian
Finland - Finnish
Germany - German
Latvia - Latvian
Lithuania - Lithuanian
Norway - Norwegian
Poland - Polish
Russia - Russian
Sweden - Swedish
Those of you familiar with the Baltic region will know that these languages belong to the countries that are surrounding the Baltic sea:
In comparison, M2L supported the following languages:
Denmark - Danish
Netherlands - Dutch
France - François
Finland - Finnish
German - Germany
Italy - Italian
Norway - Norwegian
Portugal - Portuguese
Spain - Spanish
Türkiye - Turkish
English - International
Kenya - Swahili
South Afrika - Xhosa
Something that must be noted is that M2L had real-time language translations that took place on deck. While it was good, it certainly had its pitfalls and could be improved upon.
M2LBA will be handling language translations in a totally different and more efficient way.
What about the deck themes ? 🎨
Deck themes are a huge part of the Mega Mixable Live experience, and that tradition will continue in M2LBA.
M2L currently has 47 themes in total (colour and pictorial)
M2LBA will have 60 themes in total at launch (colour and pictorial) with more added via updates.
And just in case you were wondering ? Yes with the exception of the colour themes, all pictorial themes in M2LBA will be new and different from the ones already seen in M2L.
Pricing 💰
M2LBA will come in two flavours:
- Free version (with adverts)
- Plus version (no adverts)
The plus version will be a one-time payment, and not a subscription.
Both the Free and Plus versions will be near identical, with the plus version having access to unlimited functionality and a few more features not present in the free.
The price of the plus version will be revealed closer to launch.
What are all the changes that have been made ? 🤔

When will M2LBA be available on the app stores ? 🏬
M2LBA will be available across various app stores sometime in May 2024.
What about M2L ? Will version 1.8 still be released ?
Definitely. Once the launch of M2LBA has been completed, work will continue on the M2L version 1.8.
