M2LBA Alpha - UI Recap

M2LBA User Interface (Alpha) Just before I begin the system migration process, I thought It would be a good idea to briefly recap what end users should expect for the user interface of the current development version of Mega Mixable Live: Baltica (M2LBA) Alpha , and how it differs from the M2L titles on the market. This has been discussed here too: Yes, it is true that M2LBA draws its inspiration from the codebase of M2L. However, the intention was not just to create something that was an artistic variant, but also to add new functionality where necessary. As a result of that, I arrived at what I'm calling the ' Alpha ' version of the deck interface, as I feel that this will serve as a foundation to further changes before release. Based on the image above, we will now explore the current UI following the numbers: 1) HUD Section: The HUD ( Heads-up Display ) for the M2LBA deck looks significantly different from what we've seen in M2L. Preview 01: Video Inside πŸ‘‡

Dear readers,

I would like to use this as an opportunity to welcome you to the first ever preview of Mega Mixable Live Baltica (M2LBA).

This preview consists of a screen recording of the development version of the application which is currently running on an android emulator for PC (allows me to use the mouse).

This preview will demonstrate the new start-up sequence, which includes:

- A new notice / attention screen.

- An updated company splash screen

- An updated 'powered by' splash screen

- New landing screen / main menu

While this is a development version of the application, It is safe to conclude that was is shown here is likely to be how these segments will look in the final release. However still bear in mind that they are subject to changing too.

The video will also compare the start-up sequence of M2L 1.7 to M2LBA. This is so that we can really appreciate the differences.

Here's the video:

Other exciting news 😎

M2LBA was scheduled to have in-app localizations for 10 different languages, which would obviously be the languages of the countries that are connected to the Baltic sea. However the decision has been made to bring back languages featured in M2L 1.7 with some new additions too.

What this means is that the final language list for M2LBA will include 21 languages, and they are as follows (alphabetically sorted):

  1. Danish
  2. Dutch
  3. English (Default)
  4. Estonian
  5. Finnish
  6. François
  7. German
  8. Greek
  9. Italian
  10. Latvian
  11. Lithuanian
  12. Norwegian
  13. Polish
  14. Portuguese
  15. Romanian
  16. Russian
  17. Spanish
  18. Swahili
  19. Swedish
  20. Turkish
  21. Xhosa

Languages marked in blue are the Baltic languages.
Languages marked in red are completely new additions.

What this means is that M2LBA has support for the most mount of languages that any M2L title has ever had.

M2LBA is currently in development, and is due to be on the market in May 2024 across multiple app stores.
