M2LBA Alpha - UI Recap

Image
M2LBA User Interface (Alpha) Just before I begin the system migration process, I thought It would be a good idea to briefly recap what end users should expect for the user interface of the current development version of Mega Mixable Live: Baltica (M2LBA) Alpha , and how it differs from the M2L titles on the market. This has been discussed here too: Yes, it is true that M2LBA draws its inspiration from the codebase of M2L. However, the intention was not just to create something that was an artistic variant, but also to add new functionality where necessary. As a result of that, I arrived at what I'm calling the ' Alpha ' version of the deck interface, as I feel that this will serve as a foundation to further changes before release. Based on the image above, we will now explore the current UI following the numbers: 1) HUD Section: The HUD ( Heads-up Display ) for the M2LBA deck looks significantly different from what we've seen in M2L. It now adopts a minimalistic desi...

Where is M2LBA (Mega Mixable Live: Baltica) ?

Where is M2LBA (Mega Mixable Live: Baltica) ? Good day readers ! Seasons greetings to you all 🥳🎉 Some of you might be asking yourselves the question: " Where is M2LBA ? " , as this title was announced on the 29th February 2024 via this blog post . Well ask no more, as this blog post will provide an update on the development of the much anticipated adaptation of the original M2L application. M2LBA is doing fine, and as of the middle of last year, was at 45% complete . However, due to many commitments that go beyond application development, there was an inevitable delay that led to a news blackout on the progress of development of the title.  Furthermore, I was putting together funds to purchase a new windows development system, which was to replace my current system ( was beginning to show signs of wear and tear ). All these factors combined led to the inevitable delay.  I'd like to use this as an opportunity to first of all  apologise for the delay , and also reassure...

Mega Mixable Live Baltica 🎵 🌊 : An Introduction

Image
M2LBA: Mega Mixable Live Baltica Ladies and Gentlemen it is with great joy that I announce an unexpected and exciting project under the M2L Umbrella. This is a project that has been in development for about a year now, and which initially began its life as an update to Mega Mixable Live version 1.7 .  It was meant to be M2L version 1.8 However, as time passed, the decision was made to create a separate title under the M2L umbrella given the huge amount of changes that were to be incorporated into the M2L 1.8 update. These are changes that were drastic and could be a shock to those who are used to the current M2L way of doing things. So work began on a separate title in order to preserve the current design of M2L.  Ladies and gentlemen, that separate title is none other than ' MEGA MIXABLE LIVE: BALTICA' (M2LBA) . This blog post will provide preliminary details about the project. What is Mega Mixable Live Baltica M2LBA  ?  🎵 🌊 M2LBA is a new title under the Mega Mix...

Adopting the Flutter Framework: What does it really mean for the future of Mega Mixable Live (M2L) ?

Image
The future of Mega Mixable Live (M2L) What does it really mean for the future of Mega Mixable Live ?  🤔 It means a lot. And here's why: Emperortech Limited is a relatively small company. Adopting the Flutter framework for application development will open up vast possibilities for the modernization of the Mega Mixable Live intellectual property. This in turn will lead to far more features than are currently being offered in the app.  Original announcement:   https://www.emptech.xyz/2022/10/flutter01.html Being able to implement a framework that is modern, ever evolving, and capable of compiling to native on various platforms saves a great deal of development time for each platform. It also resolves the issue of feature parity. Time is money. Being able to drastically reduce development life cycles will automatically translate into cutting down development costs. For a relatively small company ? This is a huge bonus.  Being open source in nature means that it is free...
